“In March last year we launched our newly renovated property onto the holiday letting market in Braithwaite. After interviewing a number of companies we invited Kim to manage the cleaning, property set up, guest liaison and maintenance of the property, as well as stock and inventory control. Kim impressed us from day one with her expert knowledge of the holiday letting market, her extensive experience managing guest expectations and her management of not just her team but all contractors that provide services on her behalf. D&K also offer a fully managed service which we have used offering 24×7 call out and skilled tradesmen to work on the property. With an old building in the Lake District there are often issues however the tradesmen have always responded fixing the problem quickly whilst being courteous and understanding of customers. This was true even with Covid in place and they always work with people.

Cost and margin are always a concern when running any business however I have founds D&K very reasonable on all their costs, in particular the managed service costs which were much higher with our previous agents.

D&K are always willing to go above and beyond for both owners and customers establishing trusted long lasting relationships with positive feedback from my guests on numerous occasions.
